In ancient times, mascarons were used to ward off the evil eye. Rediscovered during the Renaissance, they were for a time very fashionable and widely declined in numerous forms, mixing references and heterogeneous cultures. In the form of bas-reliefs, these mascarons blend very different techniques (AI, transfer, paint, plaster) and aesthetics (engravings of ancient representations, memes, mangas...), referring to the visual syncretism constitutive of artificial intelligence.
